‘Audrey’ (2025)

Synopsis

Ronnie Lipsick (Jackie van Beek) is a washed-up soap opera actress and self-proclaimed “Mother of the Year.” Her career has faded, her marriage to Cormack (Jeremy Lindsay Taylor) is falling apart, and she struggles to connect with her two daughters—Audrey (Josephine Blazier) and Norah (Hannah Diviney).

When a tragic accident leaves Audrey in a coma, Ronnie seizes the moment as a bizarre opportunity. In a desperate bid to revive her acting career, she assumes Audrey’s identity and enrolls in her daughter’s acting classes. As each family member finds their own way to exploit Audrey’s condition, the film unravels into a sharp-witted, darkly hilarious exploration of self-interest, delusion, and moral ambiguity.
